As important members of the school community, students are valued for the contribution they can make to the school. Student voice is an important aspect of school life and students are encouraged to be part of a number of programs that enable them to show leadership
Student leadership is encouraged and supported through the following:
- Mercy Leaders – There are two Year 6 leaders for each of our eight Mercy values: Excellence, Respect, Compassion, Justice, Hospitality, Faith, Service and Stewardship. The remaining Year 6 students work in teams with the leaders.
- Student Representatives Council (SRC) membership
- Mini Vinnies leaders
- Library monitors
- Kindergarten buddy program.
